life was easier in our heads, for none of us knew
that most of us would waste away here, save a select few
we just kept on dreaming, drinking, dumbing our lives down to nothing but thoughts
life was easier in our heads.
And life goes on,
as we waste away in bars, staring through the window at the lucky escapes
trainhoppers, hitchhikers, and those glamourous roadtrippers
your face is smiling as you drive off into another sunset
we're under the same stars, yes
but that doesn't mean much in this modern world of clouds

A couple years older. I am now an aspiring filmmaker currently in production with my first movie and writing my second two.

I am also a singer/songwriter currently in an up-and-coming band. We are still very much in the beginner's stage but plan on making fast progress.
